What is Posertrax? Simply put, Posertrax is music and sound fx files you can use in your movies, online videos, game development, web sites, and many other types of creative projects.

Posertrax is much more than just a stock audio library - from niche collections designed for specific game and animation genres (like the RPG Audio Construction Kits), to our Loop Paks, SciTek Series, and Broadcast Cuts, we've more than likely got your project covered.

Product Types

Trax Paks

Trax Paks are our classic downloadable collections of music and sound effects. Similar to the time-tested "album" format, we currently offer 57 Trax Paks covering a range of moods, genres, niches, and styles. Some product types, such as the RPG Audio Kits, are also tagged as Trax Paks.

Single Trax

Individual music tracks. These vary in length and do not contain loops, intros, or stingers. Some Single Trax may have an alternate extended version.

Broadcast Cuts

Broadcast Cuts are fast becoming our standard music product. These products contain a full-length music track, and matching intros, loops, stingers, alternate versions and mixes, and even individual tracks on newer productions.

Themed Collections

A set of Trax constructed around a common mood, genre, theme, etc. Dark Ambience and Scifi Action Music are two of our popular Themed Collections.

Loop Paks

This is a very different beast than any other Posertrax product type. The Loop Paks license allows you to use them royalty-free to create your own compositions, scores, soundtracks. Each Loop Pak contains a common set of loops such as drums (with drum fills, intros, single hits), synths (melodies, pads, single notes), etc. The Melodic Guitar Loops CD also falls under this license even though it is a CD product.

 DVD/CD Products

As straightforward as it sounds. Includes the original 1999 versions of the Posertrax Ambient CD, SciTek CD, Background Music Volume 1 (variety), and the Sound FX CD.

This category also features select Trax Pak products on data CD containing both WAV and Mp3 versions. Dark Ambience, Primal Journeys, Melodic Guitar Loops, and the Loop Box CD are also found here.
