Snout is a command line Mp3 to WAV converter script that I wrote in Python a few years ago. Snout requires Python and the Snack Sound Toolkit, and it is still active and available on SourceForge.net. Snout is GPL/Open Source license and available at the links below.

If you are a programmer and so inclined, encourage you to add extensibility, GUI's, etc. to this program and share it with others. If you do update Snout, please let me know so we can post updates here and on SourceForge.
