As The Director gazed to and fro pondering the uncertain future of the Vision, a small, relatively unknown 3D application came into sight. It appeared insignificant at first, for it lacked the sophistication, extensive features, high-learning curves, and extreme cost of other applications in its genre. The other 3D applications in their arrogance mocked the small one, for it did but one thing. It provided cast members that could be manipulated to perform. Users of the other applications said, "This Sucketh."

The Director, however, was astounded. This software provided the functionality that was required to manifest the Vision! The Director compared the small application with the big ones like unto it and was pleased. It was simple and easy-to -use. It would allow The Director to focus on the essentials. The others, however, required much distraction and focus on activity that was not directly related to the Vision. And The Director said, "For my needs, They Sucketh!"

The Director bought the small application and used it to pose and animate the cast. The Vision took form. And the peoples of the earth said, "Kewl!"

Soon, one took up The Cause, and became known as the first Posimator. Others soon followed, until at last, there were 12. And they became known as The Twelve Posimators.

And so they Posted. Gaining followers, and supporters, and giving us glimpses of their works, until one day, very quietly, they snuck away. Away, to finish their plans, plant the seeds, and one day bring their Cast to the world.

Many more have followed, and there are rumours of an alleged 13th Posimator still out there, fighting from the inside, this one's identity remaining a secret as they battle the forces of evil behind the mesh curtain.

But that is another story, for another time...
